2/7/99: According to AHRN volunteer Trish Warr, who saw this girl at the feedlot, she is "one lovely little (and I do mean lovely AND little) mare." She is a First Class granddaughter born in 1990, making her nine-years-old this year. Her registration papers were sent in, but are still pending due to some unpaid fee ... Trish DID see the copy of that. She is reportedly broke to ride. Trish says, "She is bay and only about 14 hands, but very well put together. Beautiful face, lovely neck, set on well, nice shoulder, good hip, topline, and lovely legs (from the best I could tell in the mud). She is very balanced. Her temperament seems wonderful. In fact, I had great difficulty taking her picture. I would walk away from her, only to turn and find her right in my face repeatedly. It's hard to run in the mud, but I finally managed to shoo her away for long enough to get one or two shots. I really like this little mare ... can you tell?" This lovely girl has a home!
