The most important thing you need to know about this mare is this: SHE IS NOT A RESCUE!!! Her welfare is the most important thing to her current owner, a supporter of AHRN. Sometimes thing change in our lives and we have to make other changes to make the pieces of the puzzle fit. Trick will never see a lowend auction or end up in a strangles infested feedlot because we have been allowed to take her direct from her current home and place her in the most deserving hands we can find. She is 20 years old. She is by TC Grand Slam, a *Naborr son out of *Nawojka, making him pure Polish. Her dam is by *Serafix out of a Tornado daughter (*Bask/Crabbet), who is out of a *Silver Drift mare ... again Crabbet (*Serafix and *Silver Drift were full brothers). Long lived, healthy lines. Known for wonderful dispositions. Trick has been a broodmare all her life. I would like her new owner to seriously consider giving her a second career by teaching her basic ground work under saddle -- she's a solid mare, I think she can handle it. When she gets to her foster home later this week we wil have a better idea on that end.
